What it does
Rainmeter puts small widgets, called skins, on your desktop: CPU and memory meters, network speed, clocks, weather, now-playing music and shortcuts. Thousands of community skins exist, and each one is a plain text file you can tweak.
It is light on resources and becomes whatever you want, from one clean clock to a fully custom desktop.
