A fast, free text and code editor with tabs, syntax highlighting and plugins.
What it does
Notepad++ is what Notepad should have been: tabs, syntax highlighting for dozens of languages, find and replace with regular expressions across whole folders, and your unsaved work is still there after a restart.
It starts instantly and copes well with large files. A built-in plugin manager adds extras such as comparing two files or formatting JSON.
